Welcome to the Model Community School District Board of Education. The Board consists of five elected members who serve as the governing body for the school district. Their primary responsibilities include setting district policy, approving the annual budget, and hiring and evaluating the Superintendent. Acting as the voice of the community, the Board is dedicated to ensuring a high-quality education and a safe learning environment for all students.

The Board welcomes public participation. Board meetings are scheduled on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the District Board Room. All meetings are open to the public, and agendas are posted on this website at least 72 hours in advance.
